Gas as a transition energy?

Gas as a transition energy?
Gas as a transition energy?

It is a scientifically documented fact: our planet’s climate is warming at an unprecedented rate because of greenhouse gases emitted by human activities. Most of these emissions come from the combustion of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas. We must therefore learn to do without it and it is urgent because the consequences of global warming are being felt more and more.

Yet financial players continue to invest in fossil fuels: $6,896 billion have been invested by banks around the world since the signing of the agreement in 2015. This is 12 times the amount of money invested available to help the most vulnerable countries adapt to floods, droughts and other disasters that destroy lives and economies!!!!

And one energy source has particularly developed in recent years: gas! In 2024, global consumption of natural gas will reach a historic record because gas would be less polluting than oil and coal. For its defenders, it is necessary for the energy transition, for its detractors it is climaticidal.
