LeBron James showed that even at 40 years old, he still has power and gas in the tank.

The star player of the Los Angeles Lakers scored a spectacular dunk in a 118-97 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.

The sequence occurred at the start of the match. He accepted a pass to confidently move to the basket. He then performed a maneuver worthy of the dunk contest in the All-Star Game. He passed the ball from his right hand to his left hand to drive the ball into the basket.

James finished the game with 18 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. The Lakers suffered a third loss in their last five games.

For their part, the Mavericks ended their five-game losing streak. Quinten Grimes stood out with 26 points and nine rebounds. He tied a career high with six baskets from downtown.
