While the future of Don’t touch my post is still uncertain due to the elimination of the C8 channel, Cyril Hanouna responded to a persistent rumor according to which the show could return to CStar, another channel of the Canal+ group.
The countdown is on. After 12 years of broadcast on C8 – formerly D8 -, Don’t touch my post will stop transmitting. This follows a decision by ARCOM, which removes the channel owned by the Canal + group from DTT, just like NRJ12. As of February 28, both will be replaced by two new channels: Réels TV and Ouest-France TV. This decision irremediably marks the end of the talk show presented by Cyril Hanouna. But the PAF troublemaker has not said his last word! After several appeals to save C8 which were rejected, he first announced that he was considering a digital platform to continue his famous show with his group of columnists, composed of Polska, Guillaume Genton, Valérie Benaïm and Jean-Michel Maire.
If this avenue was initially under study, another hypothesis was recently put forward by our colleagues at Purepeople : Don’t touch my post could land on CStar, another channel from the Canal + group, available on the 17th channel of TNT. Information which has just been confirmed by Cyril Hanouna himself!
Could the show Touche pas à mon poste be broadcast on CStar?
It’s on the set of Don’t touch my post, this Monday January 6, while he was discussing the future of his cult talk show first launched on France 4, Cyril Hanouna responded to this increasingly persistent rumor. “We wanted to know if it was possible in the CStar convention to do a talk show, like TPMP, between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.in the times we are in”first explained the dad of Lino and Bianca, before specifying that this idea seems to be coming to fruition.
“A priori, yes it is possible, the convention allows it. So we’re going to work on that, there are other avenues. Know that this track exists, so they are not talking nonsense Purepeople. We are studying this avenue, but I will tell you what will happen in the coming days. This one is the most advanced with the teams. The good news is that it is possible to do a talk show on CStar“, added Cyril Hanouna in front of viewers who could not be more delighted to hear the news. To be continued…
