Launched last December, Marvel Rivals is preparing to launch Season 1 with the arrival of four new characters via the Fantastic Four team. The game, with a successful launch and more than 20 million players, intends to ride the wave of its success by offering a brand new plot around Doctor Doom, Dracula and the Fantastic Four. Players will be able to benefit from this first season from Friday January 10.
As a reminder, Marvel Rivals is available for free on Xbox Series, PS5 and PC.
The Fantastic Four as new characters from Marvel Rivals
While we had mentioned data mining on the game code, having found Mr Fantastic and some of his abilities, NetEase surprised everyone by proposing the four members of the team.
We will therefore have access to Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch and the Thing. The characters will therefore be added to a squad already quite complete for a game launch, for a total of 37 by the time Season 1 arrives on the game.
How to play Marvel Rivals
NetEase’s game has been available for free since December 6 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. For PC users, Marvel Rivals is available on Steam and Epic Games. You can add and download it for free since the day it was released.
Be careful though, the game has an interface in French (as well as 15 other languages) but the audio is currently only in English (with subtitles in 16 languages).
Note that if the game is free-to-playthe presence of a Battle Pass is planned as well as content in the store. The latter should be devoted to exclusive Skins, especially since the publisher hopes to be able to offer different versions of the characters according to the different universes and timelines of Marvel content.
