Kursk, act II
But it is another piece of information that is shaking up social networks this Sunday morning: in fact, according to several bloggers and observers of the conflict, Ukraine has launched a surprise counter-offensive in the Russian region of Koursk. A highly symbolic place since it is already located in Russia. Also because it is there that the Russians won the largest tank battle in history against the Germans in 1943. But a place which is also intended to be strategic, since the Ukrainians intend, with this offensive, to provoke a sort of managerial chaos in the Kremlin which focuses on other territories such as Donbass.

In August, the Ukrainian incursion into Kursk caused a lot of noise and raised great hopes in the ranks led by the president Volodymyr Zelensky.
Since November, the Russians have been trying to recover lost territories in the region. But the Ukrainians would have struck hard, with what appears to be an armored attack. The Bolshoye Soldatskoye sector returns in the various publications. Russian informants recall having warned that Ukraine had planned to attack before January 7. Information that still needs to be confirmed.
