A man suspected of having killed young Barbara in Avignon (Vaucluse) was arrested on December 25 in Amsterdam (Netherlands), reports Le Figaro this January 4, confirming information from Provence.
The individual, named Fouad and born in 1990, is already known to the courts for acts of theft, violence and offenses related to narcotics. It would be an Avignon resident of around 35 years old. He was arrested on the basis of a European arrest warrant issued by the Avignon public prosecutor’s office and is expected to be transferred to France in the coming weeks.
