Four people shocked but unhurt and a house partly ravaged by flames. A fire declared himself in a residential house adjoining Fenouillet (Haute-Garonne), near Toulouse, this Saturday January 4, 2025.
Smoke comes from the ground floor
According to the SDIS 31 (Haute-Garonne departmental fire and rescue service), the disaster broke out shortly after 1 p.m. When firefighters arrived on site, smoke was coming from the ground floor.
-“Four people had evacuated the premises and the ground floor was totally on fire on an area of 70 m²”, indicates the SDIS 31. twenty staff et six engins were deployed during this intervention.
Preserve the first floor
The action of the firefighters “made it possible to limit the disaster at this level, and to preserve the first floor of the house as well as the adjoining structure”, assures the SDIS. The gendarmerie has opened an investigation to determine the exact causes of the loss.
