The fire started around 2:30 p.m. this Saturday January 4, 2025 in the common areas. All tenants were able to be evacuated in time.

Nearly thirty firefighters were mobilized this Saturday, January 4 at the beginning of the afternoon, Voie Boréale, in Val-de-Reuil, in Eure.

In this three-story building, for a reason still unknown, flames broke out in the common areas.

Eleven adults, five children and two dogs were present at the time of the disaster. Residents on the upper floors were able to find refuge on their balconies. Seven were evacuated using an extension ladder.

The damage caused by this fire was significant but limited to the common areas. No casualties have been reported. All tenants were able to return to their homes.

The lessor plans to bring in a company to clean and restore electricity to the common areas.
