Reports in Nigeria claim Napoli-owned Victor Osimhen is keen to move to Manchester United in January, with Galatasaray paid handsomely for ending the loan early.
The center forward joined Galatasaray on a dry loan in September, after the transfer deadline moved to Chelsea and the Saudi Pro League collapsed.
There was always the possibility that his situation would be reassessed in January, with Galatasaray receiving around €10 million in compensation for the early termination of the loan.
According to ThePapers in Nigeria, Osimhen has his heart set on Manchester United and “there are already moves” behind the scenes to complete the deal.
Osimhen eyes Premier League move
Sportitalia also suggests that Napoli have a clause to sell the striker in January worth €90 million, of which €10 million will go to Galatasaray.
There are also rumors that the clause could be closer to €75 million to let him leave.
This follows reports that new Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has promised Sporting CP that he will not poach striker Viktor Gyokeres mid-season.
Osimhen has scored 12 goals and provided five assists in 15 competitive matches for Galatasaray so far this season and celebrated his 26th birthday.th birthday last month.
