Miel Vert, the Hauts de l’île event began this Friday, January 3, 2025 with the elections of Miss Mamie Réunion and Miss Plaine des Cafres.
Amina Castel from Saint-Denis was elected Miss Mamie Réunion 2025. She will be accompanied by Georgette Hubert from Saint-Pierre as 1st Runner-up and Claudette Hamon from l’Étang-Salé as 2nd Runner-up.
For Miss Plaine des Cafres, Alycia Taochy won the title. She will be surrounded by Vitaline De Boivilliers (1st Runner-up) and Léa Bégue (2nd Runner-up).

This Saturday morning, it was Jacquet Hoarau, 1st deputy and President of Casud, representing the Mayor of Tampon Patrice Thien Ah Koon, who carried out the official inauguration of this 2025 edition.
