After “The Right Price” and – soon – “The Wheel of Fortune”, resurrected by M6“Le Bidgil” is reborn from its ashes. More than twenty years after its original broadcast, this other iconic game of TF1 made its big return to the small screen Thursday, on RMC Story. A comeback acclaimed by the public, who flooded X with posts both delighted and moved by this reunion with host Vincent Lagaf' – and his famous “Beep-beep!” – and with the CGI alien, Bill.

To think that I had Bill’s stuffed animal when I was little,” we can read on the social network.
Many Internet users are delighted to see that the game has remained the same – except that it is now a weekly broadcast and not a daily one. “A flawless return of Bigdil,” wrote one of them. Vincent Lagaf' had promised a return to the same, it was successful. The audience deserves to follow.” In fact, this public enthusiasm was also reflected in the figures. According to the OZAP website, this first edition brought together an average of 1.8 million viewers, rising to fourth place in the ranking behind France 2, TF1 et France 3and in front M6 and his semi-final for “Best Pastry Chef”.
Adapted from the American game “Let's Make A Deal”, “Le Bigdil” was launched in February 1998 by TF1 and immediately met with great success. At the time, he was followed by more than 6 million viewers. The game brought home a 7 d'or for Vincent Lagaf' in 1999, before winning the 7 d'or for best game show the following year.
