An Algerian influencer, suspected of having broadcast calls for hatred on the social network TikTok calling in particular to commit attacks, was arrested this Friday January 3, 2025 morning in Brest.

Call to commit acts of terrorism
“Thank you to the magistrates and the police who allowed this arrest. Don’t let anything slip through”he added.
Widely followed on TikTok with hundreds of thousands of followers, he notably called for violent attacks on opponents of the Algerian regime. His account is now suspended.
A video, in Arabic and subtitled in French, broadcast on December 31 on TikTok calling for acts of terrorism to be committed in France but also in Algeria, was transmitted to the Pharos platform for reporting illicit content on the internet.
Known to justice
According to a police source, the suspect was arrested without incident around 6 a.m., along with another man of Algerian nationality.
Known on social networks as “Zazayoussef”, Youcef A., 25 years old, was born in Mostaganem in Algeria and is subject to an Obligation to Leave French Territory (OQTF) and is known to the justice system, according to the same source.
Contacted by AFP, the Brest prosecutor's office did not react immediately.
Youcef Aziria, whose real name is, was taken into custody on charges of advocating terrorism and inciting people to commit crimes, according to BFM.
A search was carried out at the influencer's home and an investigation was opened and entrusted to the Organized and Specialized Crime Division (DCOS), specifies the continuous news channel.
