Christmas and the end-of-year holidays are over! Fortunately for gourmands who always want more, Epiphany takes place this Monday January 6, 2025 and it’s an opportunity to eat pancakes!

Like every year, we reveal the ranking, produced by the Federation of Bakers of Loire-Atlantiquethe best king cakes. They are divided into three categories: almond (30 participants), brioche (26 participants) and creative (23 participants).

Almond pancake

• In first place: Oldü-Zola Bakery – 6, place Émile Zola in Nantes
• In second place: Boulangerie Chamallo – 2, Impasse du Coudrais in Montbert
• At the third Arno Bakery – 16, rue de Verdun in Nantes

Brioche pancake

• In first place: Boulangerie M et S Moreau – 1, place Pierre Bourdan in Saint-Nazaire
• In second place: Boulangerie L’Ami D’Pain – 276, avenue de l’Europe in Sucé-sur-Erdre
• In third place: Boulangerie Au Pain Marie – 4, rue Louise Michel in La Chapelle-Sur-Erdre

Creative cake

• In first place: Boulangerie Arno – 16, rue de Verdun in Nantes.
• In second place: Boulangerie Maison Juhel – 90, boulevard Robert Schuman in Nantes
• In third place: Boulangerie Roussel – 6, Allée des Camélias in La Baule
