The Making of a Bad Boy, documentary on P. Diddy, unveils a first accusatory trailer

Relatives of the American rapper accuse him, in this new investigation available in streaming on January 14, of having led a sex trafficking “system”.

« Sean Combs is a monster.” Sean Combs’ former bodyguard aka P. Diddy, along with his makeup artist, producer, former intern and old friends speak out in new documentary P. Diddy : The Making of a Bad Boy, the first trailer of which was revealed on Thursday January 2. In turn, they denounce the criminal behavior of the 55-year-old American rapper and producer, accused by more than 120 victims of having used his « empire » in the service of a violent sex trafficking system.

« I want to talk about this now because I saw it all »warns a witness in the 90-minute documentary produced by the American streaming service Peacock, available on January 14. « Sean Combs can get away with it every time »alerts another. « He believed that if people feared him then they would respect him. » Other employees, who were invited to the numerous “exclusive parties” organized by P.Diddy, claim to have seen him enter rooms with minors on several occasions. Some employees were even afraid of finding themselves alone with the hip-hop producer, revealed in the 1990s. Honestly, I didn’t want to be alone with him unless there were cameras around », can we hear in the trailer.

The documentary promises to “ reveal the darkest moments » of the career of P. Diddy and to show « how this music superstar became a monster ». P. Diddy : The Making of a Bad Boy also contains exclusive videos of the rapper taken by his former loved ones, where we see him partying in the evenings but also in studios or even at home, as we can see in the trailer. “I was there alongside Sean for quite a while and I filmed a lot of moments,” reveals a witness. Some of the residences belonging to the hip-hop producer were raided on March 25, 2024, with the star at the center of prosecution for rape and sexual assault, before being arrested on September 16.

A trial on May 5, 2025

P. Diddy will have to appear on May 5 during a trial for trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation, extortion and transportation of people for the purposes of prostitution, charges which he refutes by pleading not guilty. The one who now risks life in prison is also the target of civil complaints from more than 120 alleged victims, including minors, for having put his « empire » serving a violent sex trafficking system between 1991 and 2023.

Another documentary exploring the dark world of P. Diddy is also in preparation, this time produced by Netflix and by rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson. The latter promises to highlight testimonies from certain complainants, starting with that of model Crystal McKinney, who last May accused the hip-hop producer of having drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2003.
