It is in his traditional monthly editorial, available on the YouTube page of the diocese, that the Archbishop of Monaco spoke in a four minute video to wish a “beautiful and holy jubilee year” from the Rock. Mgr Dominique-Marie David recalled that this jubilee year was announced by Pope Francis on May 9 in a bull entitled “Hope does not disappoint”.
A jubilee year with faith and determination
“A path, hope, this is what will resonate throughout the year and which the official theme reminds us” continues Mgr David who hopes that “we enter into it with faith and determination“. The diocese of Monaco will mark the moment January 11, 2025day of the feast of the Baptism of the Lord, in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conceptionmother of all the churches of the Principality.
Pilgrimages to Rome
“This exceptional year will be marked by numerous pilgrimages to Rome” explains the Archbishop of Monaco. End of October 2025will take place on Monaco diocesan pilgrimage will take place in Rome. “May grace transform us into witnesses of hope” concluded Mgr Dominique-Marie David for his first words of 2025.
