Suspended for an accumulation of yellow cards, Wilfried Singo is among the group of 25 AS Monaco players summoned by Adi Hutter to face PSG in the Champions Trophy, this Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the 974 stadium in Doha, Qatar.
The Ivorian defender will not play the match but he was called up to take part in the Riviera club’s trip, organized over three days and during which several training sessions will take place.
Guilty of a violent gesture against Gianluigi Donnarumma, the former Torino player escaped an almost obvious expulsion during PSG’s victory at the Louis-II stadium on December 18 (2-4). But he had received a yellow card a few minutes earlier after a foul on Désiré Doué, leading to a suspension for a third yellow card obtained in his last ten matches played.
Recovered from his facial injury, the Italian goalkeeper returned to the Paris squad to face Monaco.
ASM will once again travel without its American striker Folarin Balogun, injured and recently operated on on his left shoulder. Krépin Diatta (adductor) and Christian Mawissa (ischio) are also out. Note the return to the group of Swiss captain Denis Zakaria, just recovered from a thigh injury.
