Ballon d'Or: Rodri's cash response to Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo's reaction to the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner stuck in Rodri's throat. This Wednesday, the Spaniard reframed the Al-Nasrr player.

Real Madrid's Brazilian striker Vinicius Jr was seriously tipped to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or. But it was instead Man City's Spaniard Rodri who stole the show during the trophy presentation ceremony.

The coronation of the European champion created an unprecedented controversy. The organization has therefore been subject to numerous criticisms.

On December 27, 2024, former Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo did it again. During the 2024 Globe Award ceremony, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner harshly tackled Rodri and his prize.

“For me, Vinicius would have deserved to win the Bon d’Or. It was unfair. I say it here in front of everyone monde”, he declared. The 2016 European champion therefore grants no legitimacy to Rodri's coronation.

Rodri frames Cristiano Ronaldo about the Ballon d'Or

Cristiano Ronaldo's statement during the Globe Soccer Award did not only find favorable grounds. The Portuguese international thus suffered criticism from all sides. This is how this Wednesday, January 1, the Spanish midfielder finally came out of silence.

“The journalists who voted felt that I should win it. These are probably the same journalists who, at one point, voted for his victory. And I guess then he agreed”he told the AS media.

If Ballon d'Or 2024 Rodri is to be believed, it is certainly the same panel which voted for him, which also voted for Cristiano Ronaldo during his coronations. He therefore believes that the Lusitanian therefore has no right to criticize the vote of these journalists.

Known for his sobriety in front of the press, the Man City midfielder has transformed himself to respond to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Currently a free player, the top scorer in the history of Real Madrid has not yet reacted.
