Philippe Clement has undoubtedly just saved his skin. This Thursday evening, Rangers easily won against Celtic during the Old Firm (3-0).
After winning everything in Belgium, Clement decided to go abroad. After a rather mixed stint with AS Monaco (January 2022-June 2023), the Belgian coach joined the Rangers in October 2023.
After starting well and seeing his contract extended, the former Club Brugge coach obtained mixed results. Celtic’s great dominance in the league and League Cup also began to annoy Rangers supporters.

After a record of one in six in the league against St. Mirren and Motherwell, some of them were even calling for Clement to leave with immediate effect.
-But fortunately for him, his team woke up this Thursday during the clash against Celtic. The Rangers won with a score of 3-0 thanks to goals from Ianis Hagi (on an assist from Nicolas Raskin), Robin Pröpper and Danilo.
