Record sale could generate more than 54 million reais for Flamengo | Fabrício Lopes

With the cash flow weak at the start of the season, Flamengo could have a real fortune entering the club.

Just over 54 million reais can fill the red-black team's coffers without the team needing to sell any players.

This could happen due to the intention of an Arab group to take Vinícius Jr from Real Madrid.

The proposal would involve record amounts in athlete negotiations around the world.

It is estimated that the group could offer around 350 million euros to the Spanish club to see the best player in the world in Saudi Arabia.

If the proposal happens and is accepted by club and player, it would be a transaction involving more than 2 billion reais.

And, as Flamengo is the club that formed the Madrid jewel, it would receive 2.5% of the total amount through the FIFA solidarity mechanism, which would amount to around 54.3 million reais.

This value would certainly help the club in its search for reinforcements at the start of the season. In addition to strengthening a cash flow weakened mainly by the default of clubs such as Internacional de Porto Alegre, Corinthians, Leixões, Almeira and Estrela Amadora, who owe the rubro-negro for the acquisition of players last season.

The Arab group has not yet announced which club Vini would play for, but it is expected that, in the event of a positive conclusion to the striker's purchase, he will play for Al-Nassr or even be Neymar's replacement at Al-Hilal.

Vinícius Jr. debuted for Flamengo on May 13, 2017, being sold to Real Madrid for 45 million euros in the same month.

For Real Madrid, Vini Jr. has so far played 291 matches, 101 goals and 83 assists and is the only Brazilian to score in two Champions League finals.
