“PGA TOUR Studios represented a historic turning point in golf media, signifying a real investment in getting closer to our fans through dynamic, engaging content bringing them closer to the action and their favorite stars,” said PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan.
“Every new technology and innovation we introduce aims to serve our fans and reach them wherever they are, and the creative possibilities offered by PGA TOUR Studios will help us pursue this mission while showcasing the beauty of our sport,” added the Commissioner.
The development of PGA TOUR Studios is part of a broader trend where sports organizations are investing in modern infrastructure to better interact with their fans. This strategy raises the question of the future of sports media: how will these innovations redefine our experience as fans?
