After the gale that swept across Normandy on January 1, Météo-France announced a marked cooling throughout the northern part of France. Yellow vigilance is required between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. this Friday, January 3: temperatures are close to 0°C, or even negative, which raises fears of the formation of black ice on very wet roads.
The sky should be rather bright on Friday, but temperatures will remain low due to the wind which will shift to the north. Further precipitation is expected on Saturday. They should give snow inland. This winter episode promises to be brief because the thermometer will rise sharply on Sunday.
