This Thursday, January 2, 2025, Frédéric Bernadet, 56, becomes general director of Sade, replacing Yves Forzini, who becomes vice-president. In this capacity, Frédéric Bernadet joins the NGE executive committee. He is also responsible for managing the multi-business activities of the group, which acquired Sade in March 2024: hydraulics, earthworks, roads and various networks, road works and civil engineering.

A graduate of the Ecole Centrale de , Frédéric Bernadet spent most of his career at Vinci Construction, joining Dumez in 1991 to work on the Yacyreta dam, located between Argentina and Paraguay. He subsequently remained in Latin America to take charge of water supply modernization work in Buenos Aires (Argentina), before working on projects for wastewater treatment plants and highways in Colombia. and in Chile.

From 2002, in , he held various management positions at Vinci Construction, including operational management of public works in Ile-de-France and public works between 2017 and 2022. Between 2022 and 2024, he chairs Sogea-Satom , a subsidiary of Vinci specializing in construction and public works in Africa. Frédéric Bernadet is also the brother of Jean Bernadet, the general director of NGE since July 2024.

Strong development for NGE

With this renewed management, NGE begins to reshape Sade. Acquired in March 2024, this company specializing in the design, construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of water and energy networks has enabled NGE to change dimension. The fourth French construction group has integrated 7,000 people, bringing its total workforce to 23,000 employees. The new group has a turnover of more than 4 billion euros.

Recently, NGE invested 17 million euros to modernize the Jaumont quarry, in , with electric machines, and signed, in May 2024, the most important contract in its history on one of the Grand Express markets. In Uruguay, the group also took part in the construction of Ferrocarril Centrala rail network.
