Here is good news for those who wish to subscribe to the Disney+ service at a lower cost! For the start of January 2025, the streaming platform has decided to significantly lower the price of one of its offers.

As you certainly know, Disney France had a somewhat chaotic end to 2024. Shortly before the start of December, the big-eared streaming platform announced its divorce from Canal+. In addition to stopping the distribution of the service, the encrypted channel group has also ended the broadcast of all Disney TV channels.
Three weeks later, The Walt Disney Company entered into a partnership with Orange. Thanks to this agreement, the operator's Internet subscribers can find, among other things, the Disney Channel and National Geographic channels which are accessible free of charge. And at the same time, Free also reached an agreement with Disney.

To try to put an end to this period of turbulence, the Disney group in France has decided to go on the offensive at the start of 2025. Indeed, one of the streaming service's subscriptions sees its price drop sharply during a promotional offer.
From January 3 to 21, the Disney+ Standard offer with advertising is at 1.99 euros per month for a period of one year. Beyond twelve months, the subscription in question will increase to the monthly price of 5.99 euros. For information, this non-binding offer is reserved for new customers. They will be able to save nearly 50 euros over a year and will have the opportunity to cancel at the end of the month.
Also, people who have subscribed to the Disney+ Standard subscription with advertising will see advertisements during the broadcast of films and series. When the profile is created, the user's age will be asked. Profiles under 18 will include age-appropriate advertising. Finally, no advertisements will appear on profiles in Junior mode.
