The coastal road has been reopened on four lanes since 6:27 a.m., this Thursday, January 2, 2025. Wednesday, early in the evening, the agents of the Regional Roads Directorate were forced to carry out the changeover, the precipitation recorded being greater than 30 millimeters .
This security measure was lifted, but the switch to two lanes on the sea side was only effective once the blockchain was reset.
This precaution had little impact on traffic. The end-of-year celebrations and school holidays avoided the huge traffic jams that usually occur in Saint-Denis and La Possession.
