What aid is involved?
In total in France, there are 101 family allowance funds. They pay more than twenty financial aid to nearly 13.5 million households, or nearly one in two inhabitants in France. What we call CAF aid are the family allowances, education allowance for disabled children (AEEH), personalized housing assistance (APL), active solidarity income (RSA), activity bonus, allowance for disabled adults ( AAH)… If you do not yet know if you can benefit from one or more of these aids, do not hesitate to use the simulation tool made available to you on the CAF website.

December 2024 allocations: Monday January 6, 2025

The amounts owed to beneficiaries will be automatically paid into their bank accounts on these dates. These monthly aids are paid the following month of that for which the beneficiaries are entitled.
Why don't payments fall on the 5th of the month every time?
The Cafs pay the beneficiary's bank the amount it owes on the 5th of each month, according to the rule laid down by the decree of June 29, 1994. If the 5th falls on a Saturday, payment will take place the previous Friday , and if it falls on a Sunday, the following Monday. Also, the payment effective on the account varies depending on each banking establishment and can be credited up to 3 days later.
