Les Enfoirés were doubly rewarded during the Bravos d’or 2024, for the best-selling album and the most watched TV entertainment.
TELEVISION – Culture with a capital C. That was the watchword of the first Bravos d’or ceremony on France 2 Wednesday January 1st. This new awards ceremony was hosted by Nagui and Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi, in prime time from the Marigny theater in Paris. 18 awards were awarded according to an impartial criterion: numbers.
The Bravos d’or therefore rewarded the commercial successes of the year 2024, as a snub to cultural ceremonies, including the Césars or the Victoires de la Musique, where the jury’s vote does not necessarily represent the appreciation of the majority of French people. Another particularity, the winners went on stage to receive their statuette, but without making a thank you speech.
From cinema to television, from radio to record sales, through streaming platforms, without forgetting the stage, literature or even the Internet, the ceremony has “highlighted the creations that truly seduced the public”.
The award ceremonies were interspersed with artistic performances. The singer Axelle de Saint-Cirel, who sang The Marseillaise during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, performed an excerpt from the opera Carmen. The Offenbach duo closed the evening with their lookalikes and the American singer Justin Jesso who came especially for the occasion.
