Patty Jenkins succeeds in its challenge of bringing the heroine imagined in the 1940s by William Moulton Marston.
(…) To succeed in this adaptation, we needed an actress capable of carrying the legend. There is no doubt, the Israeli actress Gal Gadot was the right size to fit into Wonder Woman’s boots. Her ageless beauty distances her from the Barbie side of Lynda Carter in the series. She perfectly embodies this mixture of impetuosity and candor.

After the First World War for the first opus, this second film, directed again by Patty Jenkins and still starring Gal Gadot in the title role, takes place during the Cold War. Not at the moment. Indeed, if a third feature had been initially confirmed, with still Patty Jenkins to direct and Gal Gadot to star, the project was ultimately canceled. - On March 19, actress Gal Gadot will be the evil queen in the feature film Snow Whitethe adaptation into live shots by Marc Webb from the cartoon Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
