This Tuesday, December 31, Michael Goldman revealed the name of the first student to qualify for the Star Academy semi-finals.
The competition is in full swing within the Star Academy castle. After Marguerite's elimination on Saturday, December 28, the last five students still in the running try to win their place in the semi-final. On Monday, December 30, the academicians began these “funnel evaluations” through dance. During this first day of evaluation, it was Ulysses who was nominated. For her part, Marine finished in first place in the ranking ahead of Ebony, Franck then Charles in last place.
Star Academy: who is the second nominee?
For the test on Tuesday, December 31, the students had to take on the challenge of a theatrical test. Hugues Hamelynck revealed his instructions: “We're going to do something called the 'solo-duo'. In a one-minute-and-a-half improvisation, you will have to play two different characters. You will draw a leaf at random which will give you a location and it is in this location that your improvisation will take place. […] We absolutely must distinguish two different characters in your proposal. It can be a dialogue or something else, whatever you want“, he explained just before the test. During this evaluation, it was Charles who was nominated to everyone's surprise. After the result, the students were stunned by Charles' nomination, especially Marine who expressed her total incomprehension: “This is not normal”, she declared.

The competition heats up every day at Star Academy Castle as the semi-finals approach. After the nomination of Charles and Ulysses, Michael Goldman announced the name of the first student qualified for the semi-final of season 12 this Tuesday, December 31. It's Ebony. The director praised his various performances during the week. The student, in fact, impressed his teachers during the dance, theater and singing tests. The nominees of the week are therefore: Ulysse, Charles, Franck and Marine.
