Michel, sitting in his armchair, glances out the window. “The Bretons like the rain but hate the coldhe says, observing the clouds covering the sky. This December day is particularly cold. At 70 years old, his soft voice, tinged with a slight laugh, immediately inspires confidence. Not far from him, an empty armchair: his mother's, as if she were still present.
For almost four years, Michel lived alongside Paule, his mother, until her last days. A period that he describes as unique. Together, they were able to find a subtle balance: cohabiting without ever encroaching on each other's space. “It was a bit like going back to my childhood.”
