Do you plan your trips and make your reservations in advance, or are you a fan of last-minute programs? In both cases, here are the details on the public holidays for the year 2025.

For fans of extended holidays, some of these deadlines will rarely fall on Saturday and Sunday. The start is with the New Year's Eve, Wednesday January 1, 2025, a day that you can take advantage of to make your list of resolutions for the year.

The second holiday will be Saturday January 11, the day commemorating the presentation of the Declaration of Independence. As for January 13, it will mark the Amazigh New Year, which has become an official celebration. The opportunity will perhaps be to savor tagoula and other Amazigh specificities.

In accordance with the Hijri calendar, Eid el-Fitr would coincide with Sunday March 30 or Monday March 31. Prepare in advance for family visits!

On May 1, International Labor Day, you can take advantage of a Thursday to celebrate your professional achievements. As for Eid el-Adha, it would coincide with Friday June 6 or Saturday June 7, 2025.

National and religious celebrations will follow one another

July 30, which marks the anniversary of Throne Day, will fall on a Wednesday and will be a perfect day to break the weekly rhythm.

August 14, 20 and 21 (Thursday, Wednesday and Thursday) will then be three consecutive occasions which remind us that this summer month is that of national holidays par excellence.

Finally, the year will end with two religious and national holidays: September 4 or 5 (Thursday and Friday), Eid al-Mawlid will be the opportunity to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Mohammed. As this public holiday coincides with the end of the week, you will be able to extend your few days of paid leave.

November 6 (Friday) will be the anniversary of the Green March, a day of remembrance and pride, followed by Saturday and Sunday. Tuesday, November 18, Independence Day, will be another opportunity to celebrate the liberation of Morocco and the national heritage of this historic day.
