Even Inzaghi’s Inter stops every now and then. The 2-2 draw against Bologna (also scored Holmformer Atalanta player) makes Saturday’s match (18 January) between Atalanta and Napoli even more interesting, with a truly amazing ranking scenario: despite the three consecutive draws, the Dea, with 43 points, is firmly in third place and finds Inter at +1 (with a game to recover however) and Napoli at +4 (47 points).
The challenge that Inter will have to recover is that of Florence, for a potential share of 47 points equal to the Azzurri. The match, missed due to viola Bove’s illness, will be played in February.
At the moment, as has been the case for a few weeks and as we hope will continue to happen, the race to the top is therefore a three-way affair. And being in this trio is a huge credit to the Goddess, given that there is also a Champions League underway which sees the Nerazzurri very well positioned in terms of qualification. Atalanta’s season is amazing, with an ongoing series of fifteen games without defeat and the chance to experience a super night against the league leaders in the next round, scheduled for Saturday.
In the match against the Neapolitans, also given the advantage of the direct match won 3-0 at Maradona, it is essential not to lose to avoid being too far behind. It is clear, however, that a success would boost the team Gasperini to the next Champions League match against Sturm Graz, with the qualifying match point to be won, with morale at a high. When the Dea then faces Como and Turin, Napoli will have Juventus and Rome. The races are all to be played, fun is guaranteed.
