Usually, she's not the type to get a lot of international attention. The low exposure of Ligue 1 prevents it from fighting with heavyweights such as the Premier League or La Liga. Present at the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony last Friday, Cristiano Ronaldo spoke in particular about the level of the Saudi Pro League, which he joined almost two years ago. For this, he made an unflattering comparison for Ligue 1:

There have indeed been many heated reactions coming from France. Ligue 1, for example, itself responded to this dig by ironically recalling that Lionel Messi, who played on its grounds, won the World Cup in such temperatures. As far as he is concerned, Adil Rami, who places himself as a big fan of CR7responded to him during a recent Twitch live and clearly went against him:
