Beaten twice in a row by the Quebec Remparts earlier in December, the Baie-Comeau Drakkar this time bombarded the opposing goalkeeper in a 5-2 victory on Saturday at the Alcoa Sports Center.
Poor Louis-Antoine Denault was targeted by 43 pucks during this match, including 21 in the first period. The Quebecer did well in the circumstances, but the Red Devils were unable to generate enough attack.

However, it was the visitors who opened the scoring thanks to the eighth goal of the season from young Maddox Dagenais. Even Denault provided an assist for this goal and the Remparts were in front for around twenty minutes.
The Drakkar, however, was far from having said its last word: Samuel Boisvert and Louis-Charles Plourde shook the ropes in turn in the second period, then Alexis Mathieu gave a two-goal priority to the local favorites at the start of the third.
Jules Boilard and Plourde (empty net) completed their three-point work evening with a goal in the final moments of the match. Andreas Straka was the other scorer for the Remparts.
On December 6 and 7, Quebec defeated Baie-Comeau by a score of 6 to 4 and 5 to 4. The two teams will meet again for a series of two games in 24 hours on January 10 and 11.
