French skier Clara Direz underwent reassuring medical examinations after suffering head trauma during a fall on Saturday December 28 at the end of the Semmering giant in Austria, the French Ski Federation (FFS) indicated on the network X.

Clara Direz lost her balance at the very end of the descent and fell on her head in the finish area after crossing the line with the 26e time 3 sec 89/100 behind the winner, the Italian Federica Brignone.
“She was taken to hospital following head trauma. All the medical assessments carried out on site are reassuring,” declared the FFS, specifying that the skier from Sallanches, aged 29 “would join the French team at the hotel” Saturday evening.
