In case you’re in shock or just haven’t been paying attention, we’re donating £1,000 for EVERY 180 thrown at this year’s Paddy Power World Darts Championship to Prostate Cancer UK with our BIGGER 180 campaign.
“But it’s exactly the same as last year, Paddy – what’s more important?” , you think. Well, we’re also going to be donating an extra £60,000 to the charity for EVERY nine darts thrown at this year’s tournament.
There weren’t any last year, so we like the chances that they’ll all be saved for this time around.
Last year a total of 914,180s were launched, with champion Luke Humphries leading the way with 73, meaning we were forced to hand over – quick math, take that one away… – £914,000 to the cause.
But we thought that seemed a bit miserly, so we rounded it up to £1,000,000.
This year, if Humphries, Littler, MVG and the rest can pull off a few perfect legs, we’ll have no choice but to come up with a seven-figure sum.
And that’s not all, because we’ll also be giving away £60,000 to any player who hits a nine-dart and £60,000 to one lucky Ally Pally fan when that happens! Learn more here.
But enough about all that, let’s talk numbers.
Here is the total amount we are currently donating to PCUK for this year’s tournament:
We’ll keep our stylish table updated and encourage the guys and gals to stock up on everything they can until the finals on January 3, 2024!
