Each year, donations from the approximately 400 expected runners are donated to an association. And on this New Year’s Day, the NGO Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) was chosen to support the commitment of its doctors.
The crazy idea of a charity underwear race comes from three English women who took on the challenge of raising funds on skis and in bikinis in 2019. Six years later, the Chilly Run has donated nearly €15,000 to associations such as Mind, Friends of the Earth, Save the Children, UNICEF, Ski 2 Freedom and Cancer Research.
The start of this fun race will be at the top of the Grand Plan chairlift from 12:30 p.m. and then go down the blue Charmettes slope. A minimum donation of €10 is requested from each participant. The Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise tourist office advises you to purchase your package online before the race.
