As she retires at the end of December, Sophie Lenoir talks about her career in Haut-Anjou where she worked as an advertising salesperson at Oxygène radio for around fifteen years. Testimony.
It was the time of Radio Haute-Angevine, still under associative status. I was on the ground, there was nothing and everything had to be created. I agreed to be in sales, I struggled for a few years. My job consisted of approaching clients and creating ads for them from A to Z. We developed the entire radio station with Laurent Rivron. We went from associative status to commercial radio. It has evolved a lot to become Oxygène radio. People remained attached to it.
“In the office of the Segré fair”
You have to be 1000% local to be successful on the radio. I sold myself more than the radio. I love what I do. I owe my professional success to my clients. They all followed me. Without them, I wouldn’t be here. I have as much respect for an association as for a client. I am delighted with my journey here. I remained myself.
I have lived in Bourg-l’Évêque for around ten years. I am retiring at the end of 2024. I want to take a breather. I returned to the Segré Fair office in September 2024.
