Six months of work
Several wooden structures of the mine train will be replaced, while the Mill Camp tower will be completely refurbished. The attraction's animal figures, such as the goat and mules, will also be restored “to their original glory.”
After six months of closure, the public should return to the famous ride with a reworked decor. According to the press release released by Disneyland Paris, “the Imagineers provided an in-depth study on wood, very present in the decor of the attraction and its station, with a view to replacing certain structures with new elements custom-made by Design & Delivery and the Central Workshops, more durable and carefully painted to keep the aged appearance of this mine dating from the Gold Rush.
