These criticisms are regularly denied by Jimmy Wales, co-founder of Wikipedia, who on the contrary highlights the moderation problems and the false information circulating on X, another property of the director of SpaceX and Tesla.

For its part, the Wikimedia Foundation, which manages the encyclopedia, affirms that its objective remains neutrality, despite studies having noted a moderate ideological bias to the left in certain articles.
