“Papote et popote”, the last workshop of the year

Thursday, December 18 at the social and prevention center took place the last “potote & papote” workshop of the year, led by Laura Alet, assisted by Loane, a young BTS intern in social and family economics. A dozen volunteers were present, determined to perhaps discover new recipes to make at home.

These workshops aim to weave and strengthen the social bond between residents, to reduce isolation, but also to promote the skills and know-how of each person, while offering a friendly space to prepare dishes to be savored by suite together. They take place every two weeks, Thursday mornings, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“These workshops, open to all, always know how to create intergenerational interaction and emphasize “homemade” preparations, always based on seasonal fruits and vegetables, explains Laura, from the Social and Prevention Center. are involved in the choice of recipes and in the running of the workshops. They put all their heart and talent into it. Moreover, several have already been led by participants who wanted to discover and share their recipes during the year. 2024, 27 workshops took place, involving 301 participants. We will continue in 2025, trying to do even better.
