The Gazon d’Or returns at the beginning of January to reward Isère amateur

A unique ceremony in , the Gazon d’Or, which rewards, via several trophies, the greatest successes of the last season of Isère , returns on January 11 for its third edition.

Bachir, alias Gazon Isère on social networks, is a tired but happy man. Master of ceremonies and organizer of the Gazon d’Or, he has been working for several months to make this now unmissable event a new success. “ We return to Sassenage for this third edition. This year, I wanted to do it with a slightly smaller committee and I had to refuse people but there will still be 300-350 players from Isère football present on site. »

From the north and south of the department – and this is not the smallest of successes given the small rivalries – they will be there to see those who have shone throughout the 2023 – 2024 season rewarded. There will already be a trophy for all the teams that have moved up to the next level, and there have been quite a few, the trophy for the best team, fair play and then we will have the more usual categories like best player, best coach etc. »

The public has been called to vote for several weeks on social networks and a jury also intervenes to determine the nominees. The premier category of the evening, and surely the most anticipated, the “Golden Gazon” fuels conversations at the edge of the lawns. Who to succeed Jordan Bouremel, Estrablin’s scorer?

« As with the coaches, the selection was extremely complicated to make. This 2023 – 2024 vintage of Isère amateur football is really of very good quality. In the selection for this trophy we find Aziz Teguia (FC2A), Djamel Sadallah (Olympique Villefontaine), Yoan Pace (US Sassenage Football) Pierrick Pidoux (Oc Eybens), Mansour Mekki (Aja Villeneuve) and Mathieu Antoine (FC Seyssins). Only players who deserve it! »

But there will only be one winner, alongside the real big winner of the evening: Isère football, gathered for a great celebration this January 11.

You will be able to find the complete list on January 12 on the Gazon Isère page but also on Foot Amateur.
