A man died during a “chemsex” evening on the night of Wednesday December 25 to Thursday December 26 in Tourcoing (North), BFMTV.com learned from a police source, confirming information from Europe 1.
The tenant of the apartment where the evening took place was taken into police custody.
Narcotic products discovered
During the night, around 5:15 a.m., the police received a call for emergency services to intervene in a home where a “chemsex” evening was taking place in which three people were participating.
One of the participants died on the spot. A second person was taken to hospital.
The police discovered narcotics on site. According to our colleagues, these are GHB and 3-MMC. These drugs are mainly consumed in “chemsex” evenings, a practice which combines sexual intercourse and drug taking.
GHB, nicknamed “the rapist drug”, is known for its euphoric effects. 3-MMC is a synthetic drug that causes concern due to the neurological, psychiatric and cardiac risks it generates.
