Stefan Babinsky drew bib 1 in the draw before the Bormio descent. Blaise Giezendanner will be the first Habs with the 5 on his shoulders. Cyprien Sarrazin is therefore out, following his head injury.

This descent from Bormio will therefore be done without Cyprien Sarrazin. The Frenchman fell heavily during the last training session and suffered from an intracranial hematoma. He must be operated on in hospital. Without him, six French people are at the start with Nils Allègre as the best chance. The Haut-Alpin inherits bib 10 during the draw. Stefan Babinsky will be the first on track this Saturday, at 11:30 a.m. He will be followed by Miha Hrobat and Franjo Von Allmen. Blaise Giezendanner will be the first Frenchman to start with his bib 5.

We will have to watch the end of group 1 with three favorites in a row. Winner of the super-G in Val Gardena, Mattia Casse receives 13. King of Bormio with his 7 victories, Dominik obtains 14 and Marco Odermatt follows with 15.

Six French people in the top 30

With the absence of Alexis Pinturault and the young Léo Ducros on the starting list, all the Tricolores start in the top 30. Adrien Théaux and Maxence Muzaton will start in succession with bibs 17 and 18. In good shape on training, Matthieu Bailet receives the 21. Nils Alphand obtains the 25. There will be 58 men at the start of this descent from Bormio.
