No transfer for the Nerazzurri: Inter blocked the player's departure, despite the offer from the Premier League.
Inter blocked the offer of a Nerazzurri player: following a request from the Premier League, the club decided not to let its member leave.
As reported by the transfer market expert Nicolò SchiraInter rejected a huge offer from Premier League per Kristjan Asllani.
Asllani-Premier, Inter blocks everything: the latest
The news was reported by the journalist through his official profile on X, where he wrote: “Behind the scenes – Inter rejected a rich offer in recent days for Kristjan Asllani from a Premier League club. Inter is satisfied with the midfielder's growth process.” it reads.
The proposal, deemed attractive from both an economic and technical point of viewwas not enough to falter the club, which reiterated trust in the young Albanian midfielder. Having arrived to mature alongside experienced players, Asllani continues to have rather limited playing time. Calhanoglu is now immovable, and affecting his ownership is very complicated.
Inter's refusal is a clear signal: the club believes in the player's growth path and does not intend to give in to the temptation to cash in immediately. For the club, Asllani represents a fundamental player for the future, to be enhanced with patience and foresight.
Despite having so far had few opportunities to consistently shine, Asllani is considered one of the players on which to build the team's future. Apparently, the company prefers to focus on gradual and controlled growth rather than depriving themselves of a player who, for many insiders, has enormous room for improvement.
It is not yet known which English club made the proposalbut the news confirms how Asllani has ended up on the radar of some of Europe's most ambitious teams. For the moment, however, the youngster remains firmly at the center of the Nerazzurri project, with the hope of carving out an increasingly important role in the coming months.
Inter, for its part, seems to want to maintain its approach: to enhance young talents without immediately giving in to the sirens of the transfer market. A strategy which, at least in this case, confirms how much the club wants to preserve a player who could become a precious resource both in the present and in the future.
