Rome, 24 December. (askanews) – Ferrari red and Santa Claus red together for an important sign that makes one of the most beautiful symbols of Italy, a bearer of the most correct values. On 21 December 2024, Ferrari Club Passione Rossa and Leonardo Hotels joined forces to create a charitable initiative, dedicated to children being treated in the oncology and radiology departments of the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital in Rome. The event aimed to bring a moment of joy during the Christmas holidays, thanks to the solidarity of the hotel chain and the Ferrari club, which have always stood out for their desire to bring value to local communities. The event started at the Training and Refresher School of the “Giovanni Falcone” Penitentiary Administration in Via Brava 99, where the Penitentiary Police and Rome Capital Police corps paid homage to Giovanni Falcone, and then escorted the Ferraris through the streets of the capital. The Prancing Horse procession led by Fabio Barone headed towards the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Rome Termini, where Santa Claus came on board with a sack full of Leonardo Hotels gifts. Once they arrived at the Polyclinic, the cars remained on display in the central square of the hospital, while Santa Claus distributed the gifts to the children. A simple but meaningful gesture, which aimed to bring a smile during the Christmas holidays. This charitable project is an example of the social commitment of Ferrari Club Passione Rossa, which for years has played an active role in social responsibility actions, and of Leonardo Hotels' desire to contribute positively to the territories in which it operates. Both realities, in fact, are united by the desire to carry out activities that contribute to social and cultural well-being, thus confirming the importance of solidarity as a shared value.
