Probable lineups
It will be Monday evening's match between Inter and Como, with kick-off at 8.45pm at the 'Giuseppe Meazza' stadium in Milan, which will close the long program of the seventeenth matchday of Serie A. A match that has been missing in the league since 16 March 2003, when the Nerazzurri beat the Larians 4-0 (Vieri scored with a brace, Batistuta and Di Biagio).
Although they are currently 6 points behind Atalanta at the top of the table, Inter have played two games less, the one on Monday evening and the one to recover against Fiorentina. Simone Inzaghi, to keep up with the Orobic team, aims to beat Como with the usual 3-5-2, fielding the best formation available: Thuram and Lautaro Martinez are paired in attack, the latter without a goal, in Serie A, from 3 November (he was decisive in the 1-0 win against Venezia).
On the other hand, Como is experiencing a fluctuating season but is coming off three useful results in a row, draws (1-1 and 2-2) against Monza and Venice and the 2-0 success, achieved in the final, against Roma . Cesc Fabregas, coach of the Larians, focuses on the deployment of two midfielders (Sergi Roberto and Da Cunha), with Strefezza, Nico Paz and Fadera to support the only central striker, Andrea Belotti.
