Simonelli's election demonstrates the reversal of powers in Serie A: the big names are back pulling the strings, even if the Lazio boss doesn't want to give up yet.

Il Torino which, however, had been among the 15 companies that had said they were in favor of Simonellias already in the first assembly to elect the new president of the League, yesterday too he left this group having no intention of opposing the line Lotito-De Laurentiis.
In the background remains the question of the other positions at the top of the League, for which the question has been postponed to a new assembly which will be convened for next January 10th (with a quorum reduced to 11 votes). In particular, the clubs will be asked to vote to elect the managing director, four Lega councilors, an independent councilor, the three federal councilors representing the League, the president of the League's Board of Auditors (with two effective members and two supplementary ones) and the Supervisory Body.
