The VCARB is also ready
And now we can say: the official entry list of the next world championship is complete. All that was missing was Racing Bulls to the appeal of the teams that had not yet presented their definitive line-up, even more so after the departure of Liam Lawson. However, twenty-four hours after the New Zealander’s move to Red Bull, the Faenza company respected what were the market rumors for the next season, promoting Isack Hadjar as Yuki Tsunoda’s new teammate.
Another dream come true
Another new face added to that of other drivers who will take to the track in 2025but above all another Formula 1 dream that comes true for a young driver like the Formula 2 vice-champion: “I’m very excited to step into my new role at VCARB, it’s a huge thing for me, for my family and for all the people who have believed in me from the beginning – declared the 20-year-old Frenchman shortly after the official announcement – the journey from karting through the single-seater ranks to Formula One is the moment I’ve worked for all my life, it’s the dream. I feel like I’m entering a whole new universedriving a much faster car and competing with the best drivers in the world. It will be a huge learning curve, but I am ready to work hard and do my best for the team. I’m looking forward to working with Yuki and learning from him: I’ve always admired him, he participated in the Red Bull Junior Program, like me, and we shared a similar path in F1. He has a lot of experience and it will be useful to learn from him.”
The welcome in the team
After greetings to Lawson, for the Team Principal Laurent Mekies it’s now time to welcome its new driver, who will constitute the new line-up of the team: “We are excited to have Isack join us next year, bringing a new and fresh dynamic to the team alongside Yuki in 2025 – he commented – his path to Formula One has been nothing short of exceptional, he has shown remarkable growthwith a string of impressive results in the junior single-seater ranks. He has the talent and drive to compete at the highest level and we are confident he will adapt quickly and make a significant impact. I think Isack and Yuki will make a great team. Yuki brings invaluable experience to the team and has demonstrated incredible resilience and maturity, which will be key to the team as we strive to achieve all of our goals and objectives in 2025.”
Last, but not least, the declarations of VCARB CEO Peter Bayeralso ready for a new season to face with a pair of drivers made up of a new entry and a more experienced profile like Tsunoda: “First and foremost, we must congratulate Liam on his move to Oracle Red Bull Racing. As a sister team and Formula One talent incubator, our strategic objective is to promote and nurture our drivers for the next step. This move and Isack’s entry into VCARB are testament to our long-standing commitment to developing the best young drivers in motorsportas well as the proof of concept of the Red Bull Junior Program. Having a younger driver supports our mission to speak to a younger audience, so we can’t wait to bring new and existing fans on this journey with us.”
