“Facial trauma with multiple wounds”. The day after the terrible clash with Singo in Monaco-Psg comes the first diagnosis from the medical staff of the Parisian club on the condition of Gianluigi Donnarumma, hit in the face by the right boot of the former Torino player. The images of Donnarumma’s injury, and the cut to his face which required ten stitches, immediately went viral on the web and now the recovery times of the PSG goalkeeper and the Italian national team are to be clarified.
In the first medical bulletin it refers to “Facial trauma with multiple wounds”, but Donnarumma, who returned to Paris late yesterday evening with his companions, will undergo new medical tests today, “to evaluate the extent of the blow and the visible facial injuries. He will have to remain inactive for several days”, as PSG says in its official report.
The former Milan player therefore ended his 2024 Football season prematurely.
Meanwhile, Singo’s apologies arrived in Donarumma via Instagram. “I would like to offer my apologies to Gianluigi Donnarumma – the former grenade’s message -. My gesture was obviously not voluntary, only later was I able to see that he had a significant wound to his face. I wish you a speedy recovery”.
