The Vaucluse Criminal Court today sentences Dominique Pelicot for domestic violence and child abuse
Today, the president of the Vaucluse criminal court declared Dominique Pelicot guilty of numerous sexual crimes. He was convicted of aggravated rape of his wife, Gisèle, and attempted rape, as well as another aggravated rape of the wife of a co-defendant. Pelicot was also found guilty of filming sexual images involving his daughter Caroline and his former stepdaughters. This conviction marks the end of a trial which revealed atrocities in a family context, with a harsh verdict against the accused.
